WILLIAMS INVESTMENT & PROPERTIES has been a family owned and operated business for over 37 years. Doug and Amy Williams (former school teachers) began their real estate career in 1973 with Amy’s parents, Roy and Lois Bowie. The Bowie Investment Company was also a family owned and operated business for over 50 years in residential and commercial real estate spanning 5 states. Doug and Amy worked for 15 years in developing and managing property for Bowie Investment Company while at the same time buying, operating and owning their own personal properties. Through the years, the Williams’, have owned, operated, managed and developed residential and commercial properties which include restaurants, motels, houses, apartments, townhouses, mobile home parks and commercial and residential sites in 3 different states - TN, VA, and WVA.

In 2010, Doug & Amy started introducing the world of real estate management to their daughter, Bethany Wilson, and in 2013 she joined the Williams Team as the Property & Administrative Manager.  Bethany brings a young, vibrant vibe to the establishment by adding staging and design options to many of our residential and commercial sites, keeping us current with up-to-date property management trends, outreaching to new customers by creative marketing incentives, and more!  We are excited to keep Williams Investments & Properties a family business!

BRAN INVESTMENTS, LLC has been a family owned and operated business for over 55 years started by Dr. Roy and Lois P. Bowie. After their deaths, their 4 children, Betty, Richard, Amy and Nancy continue to operate and own the Bowie estate doing business as BRAN Investments, LLC. They all serve on the family board together with their husbands, Paul Brown, Doug Williams and Tom Carter. Today, Amy and Tom who worked with the Bowies’ for many years are the managing team for the Bowie properties known as BRAN INVESTMENTS, LLC - Amy, is VP of Sales, Leasing & Development and Tom, VP of FInancing & Accounting. 

Our goal has been and will always be to strive for fairness and integrity in all that we do. The good Lord has blessed those efforts, both in business and family, and we are grateful.
